Unexpectedly cold day!

Castrojeriz; Day 19; 20.1km/12.5 miles; to date, 327km/204 miles…not quite 1/2 way…

We do have to say with walking around the big cities, we’ve walked another 7 miles

Rained all night and we ended up in an albergue with 6 other pilgrims sharing one room and one bathroom…not much sleep! We only had our rain breakers on and I had shorts on to boot!…turned out to be a blustery day that started 1.5 hrs before day break…10 km in was our first welcomed stop to thaw our fingers and enjoy a hot beverage and chocolate croissant! The rest of the walk was mild in comparison… enjoying our Sunday afternoon now! Buen Camino
