Boadilla del Camino; Day 20; 20.6 km/12.5 miles
Day-wise, we are 1/2 way…not quite in miles…today, we hiked up a 12% grade for about 1.5 hours…arrived in time to witness our God moment…a drop dead gorgeous sunrise…lots of photos to follow…We walked along the meseta (plains) for a short bit and then went down an 18% grade…the rest of the walk was a piece of cake other than the distance…enjoyed a lovely late lunch and we are enjoying a nice afternoon…we continue to connect with those we have met along the way and we meet new pilgrims every day…Buen Camino

I’ve always wondered what The Lord thought when he was “HALF WAY TO CALVARY”. Was it how bad the thorns hurt, or the knowledge that this trip leads to salvation! M
