Quiet Village; shorter walk

Villalcázar de Sirga; Day 21; 20.3 km/12.6 miles

Another early pre-dawn morning…becoming cooler…wearing gloves and long sleeve at the start…I’m still holding out with my shorts! Took an alternate route but somehow missed the river…walked a lonely path with a fellow from AK…I enjoyed reminiscing about my 3 years in AK! Our path took us back to the main route and we rejoined the other pilgrims…our destination had a lovely church which we visited…Buen Camino

Happened upon a canal boat
Stork’s Nest
Purportedly the most beautiful church in Spain (Frómista), but it was closed
Another church!
Finally some sheep!
Right on the plaza
Rose Window
Tombs of Felipe, wife, & son

  2. What a diverse range of towns, landscape, art and architecture. Sure it is all Spain, but it looks like y’all see new things every day!
