Climbing up to León…wonderful surprise

León; Day 26; 18 km/11.2 miles

Fairly uneventful walk with a couple uphill climbs…until we reached León that is! Walked right into the annual Flag Festival where all the towns in León county bring their Flags and dress in their colors and costumes…each town also decorated a Basque wagon and costumed children ride in it…the parade lasted for hours and the Festival went into the late evening!
