Muruzábal; 19.8 km/12.3 miles We thought that we were going to have a somewhat level walk today…surprise!…a rather steady uphill grade! We started in the dark and had to circle back as we missed the path! No worries, the threesome ahead of us made sure we got back on track

Day 5; 22.4 km/14miles Pamplona to Murzabal It was tough going uphill but extremely treacherous going down! But, we both made it without misshap!

Day 6; 21.3 km/ 13.3 miles Muruzábal

We enjoyed a wonderful Spanish breakfast, went to a 1000 Mass, then as day 2 of the Festival commenced we walked out of old town and into new town…stumbled upon another beautiful historic church…siesta is literal here so we are resting. Day 3; 21.9 km/ 13.6 mi First 1/2 was a nice gentle up and down up and down…then came the difficult part! Sideways shell going steeply down…only one oops…Debbie slipped 200 yards before the historic bridge…very proud that she picked herself up, dusted herself off and soaked her feet in the icey river…a couple beers/wines …
