Walking through many villages today

Cacabelos; Day 31; 22.6 km/13.9 miles plus an extra mile

Some ups and downs but overall just a long day and quite warm in the afternoon…ran into Fr Jim Perkl again and his group of friends at our hotel…we were invited to a Mass which was an amazing grace as we saw many churches today and yesterday but no Masses! God is so good!!!

Another pretty sunrise!
Awesome castle in Ponfedero

Short hike down a steep descent

Molinaseca; Day 30; 9.1km/5.5 miles

We planned today’s hike to allow us plenty of time to slowly traverse the steep descent…we arrived at the Roman bridge in Molinaseca just in time to hear the bells ring out Ave María…it was magnificent! Buen Camino

Sunrise over the mountains
Beautiful balconies

Cruz de Ferro

Very emotional and prayerful…we each had significant, special items that we carried and left at the foot of the Cross…see captions
